Scott Jay Auerbach, P.T., is the founder of SCOTT Physical Therapy, PC.
Born and raised in Brooklyn and trained in physical therapy at one of New York’s leading medical institutions, received a bachelor of science degree in Physical Therapy from Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn. Internships at Staten Island Hospital, Lutheran Medical Center and Maimonides Medical Center combined with experience at Manhattan’s Sports Training Institute, provided the background in physical therapy and sports medicine necessary to meet the demands made upon today’s full-service physical therapy practice.
Mr. Auerbach has been in private practice since 1987.
Not only is he expertly trained in physical therapy, but Mr. Auerbach is also a skilled athlete. He was Brooklyn’s Junior Golf Champion in 1978, captain of his high school tennis team and a varsity tennis player in college and he participated in semi-pro baseball.
He is a rehabilitation specialist in balance and vestibular disorders, anterior cruciate ligament injuries, low back problems, foot injuries and rehabilitation following surgery.
Scott Auerbach is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association and he is a specialist in the rehabilitation of injured golfers. Additionally, Scott Auerbach is the only physical therapist in the U.S.A. who is also a USGTF certified professional golf instructor.
More than that, he is warm, friendly, compassionate, and among the best at what he does.
